1. Bleed rings aka Drip rings are placed inside the circular bolts between flanges, mainly to drain or bleed of excess liquid via a valve, thus minimizing the effects of corrosion in steel pipes.
2. Sweco Fab has been supplying these rings in various sizes, ranging from 1 NPS to 16 NPS and made out of Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel & alloys per customer requirement.
3. Bleed rings can be supplied with threaded or socket-weld taps and for raised-faced or ring-type joint (RTJ) configuration, both male and female. All rings are made in accordance with B16.48.
